Schedule of Talks
Update August 2021
We are delighted to announce that we are able to resume our talks programme.
Friday 17th September 2021
7.30pm at Sketty Parish Hall
De La Beche Road, Sketty SA2 9AR
We are delighted to welcome Robert Kenny, of the Friends of the Newport Ship. Robert will be giving a talk about the NEWPORT MEDIEVAL SHIP.
In the summer of 2002, on the muddy banks of the River Usk, the remains of a 15th century ship were found. Now recovered, the remains now form a fascinating project to reveal the life and times of medieval Newport and its trading partners along the Atlantic seaboard.
If you wish to attend, please register either via email to firstname.lastname@example.org, or telephone 01792 233475. Numbers are limited, so please book early in order not to be disappointed.
