The annual Journal Gower
Published virtually every year since the Society’s inception, this publication has been described as “an encyclopaedia of all things Gower”. It has become a ‘must’ for devotees of Gower, and some are even said to save its contents for a Christmas Day read!

It is published in November, and members collect a copy on Publication Night or have one posted to them soon after.

Early editions are becoming rare and the Society keeps a list of members waiting for a chance to purchase a copy to complete their collection. Those seeking a copy of any particular year’s Journal can register their interest here:

You can now access the Journals up to volume 56 (2005) on the Welsh Journals website of The National Library of Wales: 

Articles for consideration for inclusion in the Journal should be sent to 4, Longfields, Bethany Lane, West Cross, Swansea SA3 5UB. We are happy to discuss potential contributions in advance. The article should be sent on a computer disk or a memory stick together with 2 printed hard copies. Relevant copyright-free illustrations, particularly in colour are welcome – either as good quality scans or printed photographs.
