Saturday 21st April, CLYNE IN BLOOM
Meet at 10:30am at Clyne Gardens Car Park (No charge in the section of the car park for Clyne Gardens) GR SS 618 905 (Turn from Mumbles Rd in front of Woodman Inn, Blackpill.  Turn right into car park and park in one of the designated bays).  Parking is also available in the park at the bottom of Derwen Fawr Road.  The 2B and 3A buses stop on the Mumbles Road opposite the Woodman Inn.  A 6 mile walk around Clyne Gardens and the Country Park.  We can expect a spectacular display of Azaleas, Rhododendron and Bluebells in bloom.

Sunday 22nd April, CRICKHOWELL AND THE THREE PENS
(Joint with Swansea Ramblers)
Meet at 8:30am between Guildhall & Victoria Park (GR SS 643 923) or 9:45am Crickhowell: A4077 New Road School free park (GR SO 216 185).

From Crickhowell, we’ll ascend The Daren then circle the hilltop, passing over Pen Gloch-y-pibwr, Pen Allt-mawr and Pen Cerrig-calch before returning via Table Mountain. A strenuous 12 mile walk.

Sunday 29th April, AFAN ARGOED
(Joint with Swansea Ramblers)
Meet at 9:00am between Guildhall & Victoria Park (GR SS 643 923) or 9:45am Afan Argoed Forest Park: Centre car park (GR SS 821 950).

Up the valley to Abergreggan then climb up Cwm Creggan to a wind farm at Goodness–knows-where!! From there over to Cwm Blaenpelenna and back via the Mountain Centre.  Generally on good ground with some great views. This is the walk that was cancelled in December as it was rained and snowed off! A strenuous 13 mile walk.

Saturday 5th May, PENCLAWDD & THE MORLAIS VALLEY 
Meet at 10:00am at Wernbwll Car Park (GR SS 554 946) for a 6 mile moderate walk.  Take road left of the Poundffauld in Three Crosses towards Blue Anchor.  The car park is on the right, in about 3/4 mile, opposite a row of bungalows.  A moderate walk around this quiet and peaceful corner of the Gower Peninsula.

Meet at 08:45am Cross Hands: Heol Parc Mawr: On-street parking (GR SN 568 128) or 10:00am Crymych: Fairfield Business Park car park (GR SN 182 339). N.B. Please text me if you intend to meet us at Crymych.
Directions: On A478 through Crymych, turn left at Crymych Arms Pub then left again into business park.
Via Foeldrygarn, Craig Talfynydd and Foel Dyrch. A strenuous 13 mile walk.

Saturday 19th May, LLANMADOC CIRCULAR
Meet at 10:30 am at Cwm Ivy  car park (honesty box) for approximately 4½ mile circular walk to Llanmadoc via Llangennith and the Bulwark, back to cars by approx 2.00pm.  Easy/moderate, some ascents.  Bring refreshments/lunch.

Meet 10:00 am in the layby on the road leaving the village to the North Gower Road (B4271) at GR 546899 for a circular 2½ hours walk via Park Place, Sandy Lane, Ilston and other hidden places.

Sunday 3rd June, CASWELL CIRCULAR
(Joint with Swansea Ramblers)
Meet at 09:00am Newton: High Pool Lane (on-street parking) (GR SS 602 885).
A walk from Newton to: Clyne Common, Bishopston, Pwll Du, Caswell, Limeslade, Thistleboon, Underhill Park then back through Oystermouth Cemetery. A moderate 11 mile walk.

Saturday 9th June, TREDEGAR FAWR FARM WALK AND TALK
Meet at 10:00am at Tredegar Fawr Farm (GR SS 632 997) for a 2 – 2.5 hour farm walk and talk. Access is from the A48 between M4 junction 46 (Llangyfelach) and M4 junction 47 (Penllergaer). The visit will start with coffee and biscuits and a talk by the leader, followed by a walk around the 100 acre farm. There will be much to see including specimen trees, landscaping and historical and geological details. The walk will finish off with a glass of wine and a chance to eat your picnic lunch.

Saturday 16th June, WORMS HEAD 
Meet at 11:30 am at Rhossili carpark for a 5 mile walk to The Worm, outer head, and birdwatching.  Spring high tides are at 0900 and 2115.  This is a challenging walk with difficult ground conditions on the crossing, but worth the effort for the views, the birds and the experience.

A circular walk in the hills around Llangorse, including a steep ascent of Mynydd Troedd and Mynydd Llangorse. Superb views! A strenuous 12 mile walk.

Sunday 24th June, THE YSTRADGYNLAIS WALK
(Joint with Swansea Ramblers)
Meet at 8:30am between Guildhall & Victoria Park (GR SS 643 923) or 9:30am Ystradgynlais: Ynyscedwyn Iron Works (GR SN 783 092).
Directions: Take the A4067 north from Swansea, passing Pontardawe then ASDA on the roundabout. At the next roundabout continue on A4067 and take next right, signposted Leisure Centre 1M. Continue to junction and turn right onto Heol Ynyscedwyn. After a few hundred yards, iron works will be on the left. Google map from central Swansea: https://goo.gl/maps/1SyKpfSeJmS2
Starting at the historic Iron Works, we will initially follow the road to see part of the Swansea Canal and a stone aqueduct.  We will then cross the A4067 to walk through Coronation Park and onto Cwmgiedd.  Picking up the path along the route of the old Brecon Railway, we’ll then arrive at the River Tawe. Afterwards, we will go for refreshments at the All Blacks Arms just off the A4067 roundabout. A moderate 10 mile walk.

Saturday 30th June, BURRY HOLMS CIRCULAR
Meet at 10:30 am at the car park at Hillend, Llangennith (possible parking charge), GR SS 416 908, for a moderate 6 mile walk.  We will walk along Rhossili Bay and onto Burry Holms to look at some of the evidence of human occupation in the past on this small tidal island.  Then we will follow the coastpath past Blue Pool to Broughton and return to our starting point via the lanes, fields and marsh (which could be muddy!)
