Go to walks for September

Meet at 10:30am at Upper Killay Recreational Hall, Fairwood Lane – (GR 585 927) post code SA2 7HQ. Parking nearby – also adjacent to 118 bus stop). A short easy circular walk of 3.5 miles (though there are a few stiles) on the outskirts of the city but little known, even to people who have lived locally all their lives. We will see varied woodland, two lakes (one of which is the largest expanse of fresh water on Gower) and cross over a golf course during the walk. We will have the option of stopping for coffee at the Wildflower Café part way through our walk (or bring a picnic to consume nearby). Whilst the route is on mainly good paths, it may be uneven underfoot in a few places so sturdy footwear is required.
