Saturday, 20th October. PUBLICATIONS MORNING
Two publications will be launched this morning: the Gower Society’s journal Gower 69 and a monograph of Ernest Morgan. The event will take place at 10:30am in Sketty Parish Centre. Coffee and tea will be available. Come and pick up your copy of Gower 69 and have the opportunity to purchase the Ernest Morgan monograph at a members’ concessionary price.

Jeff Towns, one of the world’s leading Dylan Thomas experts, will give a talk on the theme of Vernon Watkins, Dylan Thomas and Gower. Friday, 25th January. AN EVENING FILM & TALK by Richard Rees
Richard Rees, who has presented, produced and directed for radio and television, specialising in wildlife, rural and science programmes, will introduce his film entitled: Tywi – the dark river of Wales. Richard has filmed the river over the course of five years. His quest was to reveal its secrets: the wildlife that lives in and depends on it, and the people who work with, and alongside, its banks.
